Buffalo Niagara International Airport has a two-level passenger terminal, which was opened in 2009. Both levels have two entrance and exit doors heading to the roadway and parking garage.
The Upper Level is used for Departures, the ticket lobby, ticket counters, check-in points, a food court, and security checkpoints. Boarding gate area referred to as the 'Main Gateway Concourse' holding Gates: 1 – 26; Gates: 6-1 after security checking on the left-side and Gates: 7-26 on the right-side.
The left-side gates are occupied by American Airlines (Gates: 3-6), and International Charter, while right-side barriers are taken by Delta (Gates: 20, 22, 23, 25), Southwest (Gates: 15, 16, 18), JetBlue (Gates: 7-8) and United Airlines (Gates: 12, 14). At Gates 3, 14 and 20 free work stations are available. Besides, the terminal provides Cell phone charging adaptors (at Gates: 4, 14, 20), free power share stations (at Gates 4-11, 14-18, 22-25).
The Lower Level of the terminal is used for the Arrivals and houses baggage carousels, rental car counters, information desk, a hotel and ground transport desk, escalators, and elevators to access the garage and 2ndfloor.
